I need Surgery

I knew that I would not be one of the lucky people who can heal from an injury without the assistance of surgery. I am going to have my foot surgery NYC next week. I am prepared and my kids are handling the situation very well. We are trying to keep them from stressing. They are scared something will happen to me, but I have reassured them that it is a routine surgery and I will be back home the same day. My oldest told me that she is going to help out around the house more since I am hurt.
