Can You Really Use Covert Hypnosis To Influence People?
The other day I was talking to a friend of mine about this new book he was reading. The book was about Covert Hypnosis. He told me that covert hypnosis is a great sales tool, and can be used to convince someone of almost anything. He said it was pretty difficult to learn, as it involved learning all sorts of strange language patterns. Some of the patterns are pretty normal, and some of them are pretty out there. He said that there is this thing called a “handshake interrupt,” which is when you start talking in the middle of a handshake. The person you are speaking to won’t be expecting it, and will go into a slight trance. While they are in a slight trance, you can slip in some commands. It sounded pretty far fetched, until I found myself standing there, all alone, looking at my hand. My friend was nowhere in sight. I guess it worked.
