Great Inventions
During our freezing cold ice storm last year we were not prepared very well. We do have a fireplace and at least we had our own wood cut. Some of our friends was without gas and electricity for 14 days. Our kids thought the first few days were kinda fun. Hang up sheets in the living room to keep the heat from the fireplace in one room so we wouldn’t freeze. Cook soup over the fire, keep some candles lit and best of all no baths could be taken. It was great family time, some good quality time, but I have to admit, I’m glad we’re not like that all the time.
