It’s Getting Pretty Old
Like most teenage girls, my daughter takes a long time getting ready to go somewhere. This wouldn’t be such a big deal, except that she also doesn’t like to get up in the morning. She has missed the bus more times than I can count, and I have had to drive her to school. She even made us miss an airplane once! It’s getting pretty old, and I think it’s time to teach her a lesson about the importance of being on time. The next time she misses the bus to a soccer game, and am not going to take her. She is just going to have to miss the game entirely. Since she loves soccer, maybe this will make it sink in.
