Boxing in the U.S.A.
Boxing in the United States is not as big as it used to be. The lack of an American heavyweight champion has made the interest of the public decline. Most of the best fighters these days come from other countries around the world. A lot of smaller boxers in the world come from Latin American countries. The most famous boxer of modern times has been Oscar De Lahoya. He has been the champion many different times in more than one weight division. This gladiator in the ring has recently retired but continues his legacy promoting fights in his own brand of boxing.
