CCW Training For Defensive Handgun Use
When I completed the basic CCW training, I decided to register in a CCW training class for defensive handgun use next. The basic Ohio CCW training I just completed taught us the fundamentals of defensive handgun use but I want to delve deeper on the subject.
To be able to use my handgun defensively, I need to be trained how to draw my gun from concealment and draw and fire it without shooting innocent people. I got a handgun for protection and I want to use it defensively and not offensively.
Since carrying concealed weapon is a big responsibility, I need to know how to assess a situation, whether it necessitates force or not. Also, I would need to be trained on the safe way of drawing and firing, the multiple shooting techniques, and how to shoot while moving. And I am confident that I will be able to learn these in my CCW training for defensive handgun use.
