No Shame In Second To Last Place

I have not competed in a lot of sports in my life because I have never really been good enough to win at any of them. I realized one day that I had to stop measuring my success by wins and losses but by what I learned during the event. I came in second to last place during my first sprint triathlon but I think I gained more than the guy that won. You see, he did it for a profession and was already good at what he did. I had to get up off the couch and make myself a triathlete and that is an accomplishment.
